The practice is runned by Dr and Mrs. Samsom, owners of the practice.

Dr Willem N. Samsom

Dr Samsom is a physician licenced in practising family medicine. He has studied medicine at Leiden University (Netherlands). After graduating from medical school as a general practitioner, he went to the United Kingdom where he completed his additional years of residency in family medicine. Afterwards Dr Samsom practiced family medicine in the United Kingdom for several years before returning to The Netherlands, and in 2004 taking over the family medicine clinic at Herculesweg 13 in Delft. You can consult Dr Samsom for all your medical questions and problems. Dr Samsom also makes the required medical tests e.g. when you want to get a mortgage for your new home, or when you have found a new job. Dr Samsom has an additional University degree MSc in epidemiology.

Practice Manager:
Anita Samsom, lawyer

Anita is the wife of Dr Samsom. She graduated from law school at Leiden University (Netherlands) and specializes in employment law and health law. Anita has worked for many years at the Ministry of Health as a public health policy lawyer. Since 2007 she has also been responsible for the practice management of our general practice. She is mainly concerned with personnel management, but also with other matters such as the working conditions in the practice and the quality policy with regard to our patients. As a patient, you can contact her if you have complaints or comments about our services, so that she can work with you to find a satisfactory solution. Anita works from home and can be reached via our Contact form, after which she will contact you by phone or email.

Dr de Smit works with us since 2023. She has studied medicine at Leiden University. You can contact her for all your problems in the field of general medical care in the broadest sense of the word. She not only has professional knowledge in the field of somatic care, but she has also qualified in the psycho-social aspect of general practitioner care.

Dr Kathy M. van Ierland

Dr van Ierland works with us since 2024. She has studied medicine at Leiden University. You can contact her for all your problems in the field of general medical care in the broadest sense of the word. She not only has professional knowledge in the field of somatic care in the general practitioner practice, but she has also gained experience working in a Hospital as a doctor in the gynecology and obstetrics department.

Dr Anouschka 't Hart

Dr 't Hart works with us since October 2024. She has studied medicine at Leiden University. You can contact her for all your problems in the field of general medical care in the broadest sense of the word. Before Doctor 't Hart came to work with us, she gained experience as a doctor in the Emergency Department in a hospital.


Psychologist mental health:
Dr Anna C. de Vries
Dr de Vries works with us since february 2023. She has studied clinical psychology at Utrecht University. You can contact her for all your problems in the field of mental health care. Thereby it may concern psycho-social problems, but also psychiatric problems of all kinds.

Jorinde has been working at our practice since 2019. She is a Practice Nurse Somatics and also works as a Doctor's Assistant. She also supervises the other medical assistants who work with us. Jorinde has an extensive range of tasks for which you can contact her directly by appointment, including: making cervical smears and the supervision and control of chronic diseases such as diabetes, COPD, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, as well as providing care for the elderly.
